The Milano Digital Primitive’s Event at the Temporary
Museum for New Design presents a show case of
designers and manufactures which working profiles
correspond to the Digital Primitive condition.
The first project Parametric Bookshelves combines
traditional production process to the infinite number of
variations of the same object deriving from a parametric
design tool capable to generate infinite solutions
according to the customer’s requirements
The Rapigattoli Chair is the result of the use of few
figurative gestures with over abused digital modeling
tools (array, loft, contour) to obtain an innovative form. Its
construction realized with rough wood sheets can only be
executed trough CNC machineries.
